Slow River

In Slow River, Lore Van Oesterling wakes up naked and wounded in an alley with no identity implant. She's taken in by Spanner, a thief who teaches her to reinvent herself again and again. Lore's newfound freedom comes with a cost: crime and deception. She must choose between staying in the shadows with Spanner or becoming someone else by taking over the life of a dead woman. But to start anew, she requires Spanner's talents and must confront her past and own demons.
