Something That May Shock and Discredit You
Daniel Mallory Ortberg - 2020-02-11
Calificación de Goodreads
A witty and clever collection of essays and cultural observations spanning pop culture, from the endearingly popular to the staggeringly obscure. This irreverent essay collection from the New York Times bestselling author expands on the concept of "poetic yelling," exploring everything from William Shatner to HGTV's House Hunters. With hilarious and insightful analyses, Something That May Shock and Discredit You is a whip-smart and funny collection for those who don't take anything too seriously.

I read @daniel_m_lavery's new book late last year, and I LOVED IT SO MUCH. It's perhaps the best book I've ever read about Being Trans without getting all hung up on theory bullshit. Buy here: My review here:      fuente

Holy hell, the way time passes in this book, like it's slipping through the characters' fingers! Undset darts among all of their perspectives so deftly too. I am about halfway done, and this might end up one of my favorite books.      fuente
