A Swedish adventurer sets out on a 5-month, 8,000-mile journey by bike, carrying 240 lbs. of gear with him. He then ascends Mount Everest unassisted, without the use of supplemental oxygen, shortly after a tragedy claimed 8 climbers. He later returns to Stockholm on his bike. This is his personal account of his training, preparation, and ground-breaking accomplishment, filled with a zest for life and respect for the mountains.
