Claws That Catch

This sci-fi book follows the Vorpal Blade on a mission to investigate an ancient and powerful civilization. Instead, they find an infestation of scorpion-like aliens that could wipe out a world. The ship is also experiencing strange noises during maneuvers, while tensions rise between crew members. It's up to the oddball geniuses to sort everything out, but the Dreen won't like the answers.
