The Shapeshifters

This book series features five shapeshifter novels that follow the avian and serpiente, two groups engaged in a long-standing war. The first book tells the story of Danica Shardae, an avian who fakes a romantic relationship with the leader of the serpiente in hopes of ending the conflict. However, their fragile truce is soon tested by forces seeking to create unrest between them. As the series progresses, a surprising union between avians and serpiente brings a child into the world who may hold the key to uniting the two groups. But tensions still simmer beneath the surface, and betrayals threaten to unravel any progress made towards lasting peace.
