Vienna Prelude

Set in 1936, this historical fiction novel follows the story of Elisa, a violinist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, who adopts an Aryan stage name for protection during the rise of Nazi darkness. But her closest friend, Leah, a Jewish cellist, is in perilous position. Amidst this chaos, various characters choose to fight Hitler's madness, including Elisa's father, a courageous American reporter, and the Jewish Underground. Will their efforts be enough to stop the coming Holocaust? Elisa must decide whether to become part of the Underground and risk everything, putting everyone she loves in danger.
