I think the Sovereign Individual is an important book, but the decentralization trend it presciently identified is now contested by multiple counter-trends — the Individual Sovereign, the Sovereign Collective, and the Autonomous Robot.      source

@Michael_P_USA I am reading "The Sovereign Individual". It is one of those books that gets in your skull and rattles around. Although 1997, it is in no way a dated explanation of what is happening 25 years later.      source
